Dorka Abramczyk

Sally Wolkcoff honors her sister Dorka, who was born in 1930 and was a twin to Heniek. They were almost fourteen when they died during the journey from the Lódz ghetto to Auschwitz. Before Dorka died, she had helped out at the grocery store in order to try to get more food for the family. Wolkoff remembers her as “gorgeous, beautiful, and loving.”
