Rochelle Talmage honors her aunt, Helena Bergida Levenson. She, like her older sister Aranka Bergida Zelenka, was a Holocaust survivor who was able to survive the war partially because she was able to stay with her sister. The sisters took care of one another, and later, Helena worked as Aranka’s assistant in her dress designing work. Helena Bergida Levenson died of cancer in 1976.
