Lodka and Blimka Blumenfeld

Jan Abby Liff honors Lodka and Blimka Blumenfeld, the daughters of Shlomo Hirsh (Tzvi) Blumenfeld and Bella Eisenman Blumenfeld. Both girls died together in Auschwitz in 1943. Lotka, born in 1918 or 1919, had previously worked as a nurse and as a seamstress in a sewing workshop. She was a petite woman who was also quite fashionable. Blimka, born in 1920 or 1921, was known to be warmhearted and kind. She was also a seamstress.
