Max Kahn

Linda and Barry Zeitlin honor their uncle, Max Kahn, who was born in Germany on May 10, 1924, and fell ill with a high fever as a young child. Because of his illness, he suffered from permanent health problems. His family was unable to get him a visa to come to the United States, so as a temporary measure, they placed him at the home of a family friend, the parents of Hedy Lustig. He was well cared for by this family, but he was eventually taken away and killed by the Nazis around 1937-1938.
