Henry Wolkoff has honored his mother Rachel Wolkowicz, who is thought to have died at Auschwitz after lived in Lódz, Poland. She was a housewife, and her husband worked in a sock manufacturing business. The couple had three children, only one of whom survived the war. The other two, Caler and Itka, where never heard of again after the Holocaust.
