Olivia Newman honors her father’s family, the Schneiders, many of who were killed during the Holocaust. The family was based in Prague. Rudolf Schneider, Olivia’s father, Rudolf, had one sister, who lived with her husband in Russia, and another sister, who had gone to Palestine. Rudolf had other siblings, including Jakob, Ben, Isaak, Leah, and Ruth. Other names of family members include Milan, Max, Leopold, Ernst, Rifka, Therese, and Dinah. Little is known about these individuals and whether or not they survived the Holocaust.
