Henry Wolkoff honors his older brother Caler, who also worked in the family sock
business like his father. He is thought to have been living in Lódz, Poland, before
his death in the Holocaust, probably at Auschwitz. His sister Itka was also killed,
as was his father Schlomo and his mother Rachel.
