Marion Katz honors her paternal grandmother Johanna Rosenberg, who was born in a small town in Germany in 1868. She was married to Julius Rosenberg; her maiden name had been Johanna Jacks. Marion remembers seeing her when Johanna visited the family in Belgrade, Yugoslavia. Johanna Rosenberg died during the Holocaust at Auschwitz.
