Sally Wolkoff remembers her mother, Fajga Abramczyk, who was born in 1898 in Poland. Fajga was last seen with her children Dorka, Heniek, and Maniusa at Auschwitz when families were being separated. Wolkoff notes that her mother was a “wonderful person” who kept an “elegant home” and loved to have friends come to the house. She would have been 46 years old when she died.
