Lore Oppenheim honors Isidor Haas, her father’s brother, who was born in Rülzheim, Germany, in 1875. Haas lived in Wiesbaden, a resort town in Germany, and worked in the wholesale grocery business. Known as a good businessman, he was sent to Theresienstadt during the war.
