Peter Katz honors his grandmother Betty Katz, who worked in Berlin as a director of a home for Jews with visual impairments. She was much loved, and successfully worked to get her son’s exit visa to America. Betty Katz died in Theresienstadt around 1942; her grandson Peter knew her well, and remembers her as a wonderful person.
