Theresa Moses Lapidus honors her first husband Curt Freudenthal (Yitzchock ben Mordocai) who was born in Tann, Germany, in 1922. The couple was married for 38 years before he died in 1985 of a heart attack. Curt had spent his life working as a sales representative for Lion Ribbon Company in New York; much of his work involved travel throughout nearby states, including Kentucky, Alabama, Georgia, and Texas. During the war, he fought in Germany as a member of the American army. Lapidus remembers that her husband was very popular, and that “everybody loved him.”
