Eric Rosenfeld honors his brother Herbert Rosenfeld, who was born in Seeheim, Germany, in 1922. Like his brother Eric, Herbert was able to emigrate to the United States in the late 1930s. After working as a printer, a trade he learned in Germany, he was able to join the United States Army. He served from 1943 to 1946 and handled fighter planes for the Air Force.
