Sheldon Lutz has honored his parents Howard and Ruth Lutz, who were known as Heinrich and Rachel when they lived in Europe. His father was born in Vienna, Austria, and worked as a dentist. His mother was from Poland and worked as an office manager. They emigrated to America in 1938 after “everything was taken from them and they were subjected to many atrocities.” Lutz also notes that “every goal I accomplish I think about how proud my parents would be….No father ever loved his child more. My mother was a very strong person with a strong sense of values.”
