Menachem Limor honors his mother Mirla Leskowicz Lipszyc, who was born in Czestochowa, Poland, and was later sent to Treblinka with her son Wowek, where they both died. Before her death, she had been sent to the Czestochowa ghetto in 1942. Menachem Limor remembers his family being very close before the Holocaust, but he is unable to picture his mother. He once stated, “I can’t see her face in my mind. For me this is the most painful of all.”
