Goldie Morris honors her older brother “Berky,” the child of Holocaust survivors who met at a Displaced Persons camp in Germany. When he was growing up, he played football and was a member of various JCC sports teams. Goldie remembers that her older brother was very popular, and she adored him because he was very protective of her. Later, Berky married a Jewish woman and moved to Kentucky, where he managed a department store. Nachman Berkl Rosenblum died when he was around 62 years old.
