Rochelle Talmage honors her grandmother Roza Bergida, who was born in 1886 in Prague, Czechslovakia, and died in 1944 in Auschwitz. During her life, she was a housewife who was known as an excellent cook and baker. Talmage knows very little about her grandmother, as her own mother, Aranka Bergida Zelenka, wanted to spare her the details of what the family had gone through during the Holocaust.
