Helene Schlanger Rothschild honors her oldest sister Sadie, who came to the United States around 1920 when she was 16 years old. She married Saul Davis, and moved to Columbia, Tennessee, and later, to Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee. There, she opened a grocery store with her husband and had two children.
